Oh Starry Night

 Vincent Van Gogh's 'Starry Night'

Van Gogh was born in Holland. At school he always played alone and never joined in the games. When he grew up he made a friend called Gaugin but he had an argument with him and cut off a bit of his ear. Sadly he shot himself at the age of thirty seven. Some people think he only sold one painting and now he is one of the most famous painters in the world.

In P4C we looked at Starry Night. For it we used dark blue paint for the sky, a yellow paint for the stars and black paint for the tree which is sticking up. Next after the paints had dried we went over it with oil pastels and did the town below the sky.

The Jigsaw that is P4C

In P4C we made this jigsaw to show that we are all individual but together we make a team. We also made it to represent ourselves as a class. To make it we got to use all sorts of sequins in all sorts of shapes. Almost everyone used oil pastels as well as sequins. Mrs Anstruther helped us because she provided the sequins and told us to make the jigsaw in the first place.
